Many private agro companies offered tentative package of around 10000-30000 for freshers during their recruitment drive. Around 30 to 50 students out of 80 students were placed every year from my campus.

Typically our campus cultural events starts from club inauguration function at the start of every academic year. From that several cultural and technical events will be conducted every year like welcome party, club inauguration, ACOFUN, Muthamiz vizha, Sports day, Hostel day, College day cum club day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it an government operated campus academic fees are feasible which was also supported by different scholarships to students. Fees structure was completely transparent and there is no hidden charges or additional fees. Initially the mode of payment of college fees was through cash, bankers cheque or Demand draft issued by banks. Later online payments through SBI collect was initiated.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have opted for scholarship funded by state government. Each student has option to access different scholarship schemes funded by the government. At an average i was supported by Rs.18000 as scholarship per year. In addition i have availed an educational loan from Indian Overseas Bank for an amount of Rs.90000/-.

There is no significant compulsory gender ratio during my course period, but in my college time its approximately 50:50. My campus provided me with well equipped lab facilities for each course, a good college ground with indoor and outdoor sports/games.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, i was stayed in in campus-college hostel with rooms of twin sharing. All students stayed in the same hostel with adequate rooms for all. Hostel fees are separate for which i have paid hostel and mess fees for each month. Each month it costs me around 1200-1500. The hostel is at its best during my course period.

Alumni/Alumna

My college was well setup with alumni network among seniors who conducts alumnus get together every year for the welfare of past, current and future student of our campus.

Admission

I got admission through Higher secondary mark and common entrance exam conducted by state government. In fact, initially i dont know about the course. At first i came to know about the course after visiting to the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for getting an application for admission. First when entered the campus the time for sale of application got ended and came back to home without getting application. The next few days i got the application form through postal and applied for the course. Later i was called upon for counselling and i got the only college left.
