Remarks
TNAU is one the best rated agricultural universities of India. The Faculty is really good and facilities are also very useful. Tnau library is one of the biggest university libraries in Asia with diverse book range. The laboratories are well kept with new scientific instruments.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is well updated catering new scientific advances. In the final year we have RAWE and other internship program (vary with every department) giving us more exposure to industries and farmer lives. Faculties are well educated, most of them holding a doctorate degree.
Placement Experience
Different seed and fertilizer companies are the major recruiters of Agriculture graduates. Many students opt for higher studies and competitive exams. Also different central and scheduled banks also recruit students. Different private sector companies also recruit our graduates
College Events
College emphasizes on national annual sports meet and also on all India agricultural university fest. Celebration during independence day,Republic Day and other significant days are practiced. Yearly events for each department is conducted separately. National level symposiums are also conducted in our college. College also celebrates hostel day and other cultural events.
Campus Life
College has a large playground, indoor court, tennis court, a gym and also pool for students to learn swimming. Every hostel is equipped with WiFi connection. Library is the most interesting part of the college where it stands as a pride of the campus. The equipments in lab are scientifically sound and also the services of Electron microscopes are also available at our campus.
Hostel Facilities
Tnau campuses has various hostels with a central mess and WiFi. Almost 3-4 people stay in a room, and rentals are mostly 2000-2500 a month. Students are expected to stay in hostels as it is a in-stay campus. Hostel rooms are furnished and basic facilities are also kept good.
