Entrance Preview

Done schooling form DAV Kusmunda and directly after 12th came to nagpur and got the admission there. I have given CAT and scored 85.6 percentile. currently working.

Internships Opportunities

I have done my internship in BHEL, Nagpur in finance department. At that time i was not offered any stipend as it was just a study. But got an good opportunity to have real time experience of people working in organisation. And its a NAVRATNA company so it was a really good experience.

Placement Experience

There were not many campus placements but some companies like ICICI, Airtel, Kotak, Bajaj, etc showed their interest. They were offering 1.8 lacs to 2.4 lacs of package per annum. And it was a good package in Nagpur for B COM fresher student .

College Events

We celebrated annual sport conducted in college. NCC Campus cultural programmes were also conducted. MBA students conducted management fest which was also good. we interacted with students of our college as well as other college students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any idea of any scholarship being provided by the college. But i have played chess when there was tournament. And they provided some small amount whenever we play any games for our college.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was good. we had sufficient space in labs also. Practicals, tests, were also conducted and we were supposed to submit the project as well for getting additional marks.

Faculty

The faculty in G S College were really supportive when we were doing our course. They are in touch through facebook. And we have two timings in G S College. So you will get plenty of opportunity to interact with other faculty as well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
