Remarks

Very receptive and cooperative team of staff and faculty who mentors the students with pleasure and passion

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The B Arch program is a five year course unlike the four years duration for all engineering disciplines. The course curriculam has a thrust on subjects oriented to design, construction materials and techniques applicable in buildings of all types and scale, Addition to this, it also has focus on different services required in buildings, their chronology and further more the aesthetic component in buildings, both in exterior as well as in designing the interiors. Through out the 10 semesters exhaustive courses are taught to the students in order to make them an able professional architect

Placement Experience

4

The Institute has a dedicated office for student internships. trainings and campus placements. The best of the offices in profession recruit young and dynamic architecture graduate students, offering them packages comparable or higher than their counterparts.

College Events

4.5

All round the academic session a large number of events and activities of extra curricular nature, take place on the campus and witness a good participation of students. BLITZSCHLAG, SPHINX, SCHOLARS CUP, YOUTH FESTIVAL, etc are a few which are organised by Cultural Societies. These major events even allow students from other colleges to participate and are a major attraction for outside and indigenous students. The total footfall in each event is 7000 to 11000 in select events in each of these festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is reasonable or I can say that one of the best one would be paying otherwise in non NITS and in even in some Government or partnership institutions for technical education in India The fee is paid in each semester when a student is required to register in the courses to complete the credit requirements

Fees and Financial Aid

There a a number of scholarships and most of them are for those who come from economically weaker section. Other popular ones are by virtue of Government Scholarships by Ministry of Social Welfare and a few by corpus fund developed by ALUMNUS

Campus Life

4.5

The total strength of the Institute is 6500+ including UG, PG and PhD students. The female students are also in good number as compared to other contemporary NITs. We do fulfill the MHRD criterion of minimum 14% girl students by a significant margin

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Sufficient hostel facilities for boys and girls are available on campus at peanut cost. Though not luxurious yet very comfortable and appropriate for students to live, develop and learn while they enjoy the golden period of their life here.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, a strong Alumnus connect through platforms like ALCOM, MN ITAA, etc. are popular and active not just when you are a student but even till date

Admission

JEE(Mains) Paper 2 (for B Arch.) program. Passion driven and mentored by friends and seniors, I took up the challenge and marched through The basic eligibility is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a total of 75% aggregate in 12th std. or in top 20 percentile in the recognized board exam. For those opting for Graduation in Architecture are required to clear the aptitutde test in the entrance exam. The admission is through Centralised counselling and on purely merit basis though all reservations of seats as per government of India norms are applicable

Faculty

4

The institute is one of the prestigious institutes and is proud of its faculty strength. As like the courses being varied in each discipline, the faculty too is amongst the best in the country. The faculty members have a vast experience in academia as well as from profession, thus giving the students the best of both domains.

There are not so much is bad things for college.Experience is unforgettable.one fine day when you see pictures from the college of you and your friends having a good time, you’ll definitely land up smiling silently. That’s the beauty of college life. It stays with you long after you’ve climbed those ladders of success and forgotten the name of that cute crush you used to drool over.
