Entrance Preview

Karnataka state CET, I mainly impressed with location and vacancy for the course I wanted to study. I had mechanical offer at davangere college but I desperately wanted to become software engineer and that motivated me to choose here.

Course Curriculum Overview

1st and 2nd semester are common to all branches which included one one subject from all the courses of engineering. Later streamlined to core branch subjects like data structures, C++, Micro controller, web design , graph theory, data mining and network engineering part 1 and part 2.

Internships Opportunities

I don't get internship fro college since no such companies came to college. After finishing my engineering I went t Bangalore and found job for me.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities were given by conducting pool campus. Good support from placement officer but not from management. I guess now it's better situation there and atusneta ate getting opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No compare to other institutes its very economic and affordable by common people.initially apart from govt fees 10000/- was the college fee lter years it decreased.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was availing govt scholarship offered to OBC students if students scores 60% in each semenster.nothing from college side.

Hostel Facilities

Though I was not staying in hostel I could say stay and food was very decent and secured. Rents were like approximately 15000/- to 17000/- per year.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Till last alumni was not so active now it's so active and we all meet frequently when college. Conduct alumni meet and even in Bangalore they had conuducted.

Faculty

We had all kind of faculty here. Funny, strict, knowledged faculty, our seniors as faculty.Good coordination with head of department. All were very friendly and we use to ait with them in lab and in staff for hours to clarify doubts.

Because sirikulam in terms of Reliance and comprehensive or not really good time period is very less so far academy here and we can't have time to study well and are many and I didn't expect this before college joining

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided
