Remarks

Really good college and one gets an opportunity to grow into extra-curricular apart from studies

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is related to actual work in real life. Also since the majority of the faculties had relevant experience and were from the Banking or Accounting or Finance field thus it helped us in gaining more of a practical and realistic approach. Also clearing the exams was much easy as concepts were explained with a view to a realistic approach.

Placement Experience

3.5

Was placed in TCS via campus placements. Also, many faculties do provide direct jobs to students if they find the student is smart enough and will be having good exposure to the corporate world. Internships are provided to students as well.

College Events

4.5

We had Cultural and Management festivals in your college as it was a major part when the majority of the students used to stay back in college apart from studies being another reason. Also, the fests used to be common for all courses thus that helped everyone to work together and know more about each other.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible and affordable fee structure to be paid. Fees are taken in DD format only. Fees for my program were 17,000 per year. And no additional charges to be paid apart from regular fees. Also, a proper invoice is provided in which an entire break-down of fees is given.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college used to provide scholarships to students who would have scored well in any particular exam or any subject or even on basis of attendance.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio was very good as we had 33% seats reserved for female students. We had sports week so that college students can take part and also get refreshed. We had competitions such as singing, dancing, debates. And there was never any discrimination on any basis everyone was treated equally and given proper attention.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors have always been a support and many are in touch to date. As they never let us felt like juniors but just like friends. Also, the college once in a year keeps alumni meet where they invite every alumni and discuss with them on places where college needs to be improved or where can they help college.

Admission

Got admission in college via Linguistic Minority. Had also heard a lot about the college and it faculties. The major reason for opting for the course was for better knowledge about Finance and accounting fields. As wanted to make a career in the finance field.

Faculty

5

Almost every faculty was having industry experience or had worked in the same field. Hardly 2-3 faculties were above the age of 50. Mostly all the faculties were between 25-40 thus making the study experience very interesting and also the class would be energetic

Placement Experience:

Campus placements typically begin in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the college's policy, with eligibility requirements like a minimum GPA. Companies like motilal , toothsii, and various startups often visit for recruitment. The number of offers made varies by college and course, with 30-40 companies visiting for a batch of 100 students.

The average salary per year ranges from 6-7LPA and the highest package is around 13LPA a year. 70 percent of the students get placed through the college every year . I personally plan to pursue MBA as my post graduation thats why i will not be opting for college placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

You get direct in-house admission for Bcom if you're a junior college student at dahanukar. The curriculum is enough to prepare us for the exam however outdated it is. The syllabus needs to change the teachers need to be changed and also the management should be updated. The college requires a dynamic approach rather than a slow and less productive one. The exams are conducted semi annually and their difficulty is quiet manageable.

Although the faculty here are experts but they still lag with some professional options but to overcome this we are Collaborated with professional to provide the best. Our exams are at a moderate level which a student can clear if he is really engaged in studies. Academics are great and timings of exam depend on the type of exam

About 80 to 90 % of the student got placed in the course. Most of the big companies give internships from top companies. The highest package offered was around 7.2 LPA. The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA. The top companies which offered placement are HDFC bank, Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. You get the placement if you got more than 80 % in any course or category. I have planned to do a CA course after completing my degree course.
