Remarks
Overall it's one the best average out here in Bangalore. If you're looking for good average college, go for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a curriculum designed by VTU so no questions asked, it's good. The teachers here aren't that good at everything but it's okay considering all the cost factors and everything. The structure too is designed and prescribed by the VTU. So obviously it's the same as anywhere else. If you're an average student, you'll do just fine here. No need to worry about lots of things as in bigger colleges.
Placement Experience
The placement here isn't good. We have to work hard for that as well. As this isn't a big and famous college, here we don't have the luxury of too many companies welcoming freshers directly from our college.
College Events
We have some fests here. Some are celebrated twice a year while some are celebrated bi-monthly. Students are involved into such activities and it shows our hardworking spirit as here we learn to survive on our skills alone rather than being pushed by our college and parents. They are average size events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is the most lucrative point of this college. It's highly competitive and cheap compared to some of the other colleges around here.its paid per semester or by yearly. We have some library charges. Some charges for lab but those are only applicable if we break something. There is lots of transparency in everything done here.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some sort of scholarship programs but I'm not eligible for it because I'm from different country and my marks weren't that good in the first place.
Campus Life
The campus is adequately big. It's not humongous or has a huge area for lots of extra curricular activities. We can play basketball as well as football as well. We have some open space where people can sit back and relax. It even has some trees and benches to add to that of the ambiance. As I said before, don't expect much, it's an average college.
Hostel Facilities
No. I have not. I live with my brother here. But the hostel is on sharing basis. The seats are around 500. The rent equals to around 7k per month. The hostel provides with the average quality south Indian food which some might dislike. It has wifi and all the bells and whistles which almost all the average hostel does.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are generally helpful and always eager to help everyone and conduct programs and such. They are the ones who help us most in organising any type of events and things. We are deeply grateful for them to add to our college experience.
Admission
My cousin had already studied here so he recommended me this college as it's like average. Not super expensive or anything. It's one of the cheapest out there if you want a VTU degree. The faculty here is like not good or particularly bad. We have some ground for activities and such. The auditorium isn't that bad either although it's kinda small. So these are the factors which helped me chose this college.
Faculty
The teachers here aren't super talented or anything like that. But they make do. You'll have to work extra hard if you really wanna learn because as an student who's not from around here, you'll find some communication barriers and such. These things can heavily impact many other aspects. The faculty does provide some help and clarification on the subjects but in my opinion, if you really wanna learn something and get the most out of them, you'll have to work for it.
