The course curriculum is as per NCHM. But besides that the college hosts food festivals, guest lectures from the industry as well as send their students to renowned 5 star hotels for their training as well as Outdoor Catering. They have a very experienced Faculty support who support the students throughout.

100% placement is provided by college. All the reputed hotel chains like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Hyatt, Marriott etc come for placement along with retail giants like Bose, Metro Cash & Carry etc. Students are also sent for internships in reputed hotels & the college bears full responsibility for it.

Major events include/Gourmet Night- Food Festival, Alumini Night, Sports Day, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day. Besides this small scale events keep on happening. The events are conducted in a large scale. Many renowned hoteliers also take part in these events.

The fee structure is given at the start of the batch only. No extra charges are charged after that. In case of any college events, minimum contribution are taken from students. There are no hidden charges or any other charges for admission. Admission is solely based on All India Rank.

The college has a Student Committee looking after different aspects like culture, discipline, sports, environment etc. they also have an Anti Ragging Committee to fight against ragging. The college organises different food festivals among which “ Gourmet Night” is one of the notable one. We had a fair gender ratio of boys & girls & most of them were from mediocre families.

I was a day scholar & have not opted for hostel. But the institute have hostel facilities for boys & girls inside the college premises. Proper facilities like food, sports, washroom etc are provided to the students.

Our initial induction was carried out by the college seniors who were extremely professional & polite. They briefed us everything about the course as well as guided us about the career opportunities.

There is an All India Joint Entrance Examination held every year for getting admission into hotel management. IHM Kolkata is one of the premier institutes for doing hotel management & it comes under the list of Central Government colleges. It has a good track record of placement

The faculties are very experienced & are from diversified backgrounds. They have a good mix of young as well as aged faculties who provide their guidance throughout. All the faculties are hired following Central Govt norms & they follow a very balanced student teacher ratio.
