Overall there are not many cons that can be stated although I would like to see better infrastural facilities considering the high fees
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well structured to make you industry ready. It also has this bespoke curriculum which allows you to choose subjects according to your aspirations thus making you a more focused and driven professional. It also has a research center for those who are interested.
Placement Experience
The placements at ifim are good. Top recruiters come and recruit students with handsome packages according to their capabilities.
College Events
Various events are celebrated throughout the year. Such as debates, quizzes, writing articles, innovation ideas, blogs etc. Cultural events like singing, dancing, drama etc. Sports competitions are also conducted like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, chess, carrom etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit on the higher side but considering the opportunities and facilities provided it is quite feasible. Also there are various scholarships offered for students who can't afford it on their own. On the other hand one can also apply for education loan which is also very easy to avail at low interest rates.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not applied for any scholarship education loan. But if anyone wishes to take this opportunity it is not a hard task to get it if you are eligible.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite happening. You'll get a great crowd here. The gender ratio is almost equal with the number of males being on a higher side. There are several competitions held throughout the year and labs for various extracurricular activities are also active.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for the hostel facility. There are single and double sharing rooms with all the required basic amenities. The rooms are decent with sufficient number of common bathrooms in each floor having cold and hot water facility. Mess, gym and other facilities are also available.
Alumni/Alumna
There's a strong alumni connect. They are very helpful and the senior students are also very active and helpful.
Admission
I gave the entrance exam, CAT then got called for the gdpi and wat session as I cleared the cutoff on my preferred location. After a few days I received an email for my selection for admission following that I had to pay seat booking fee of Rs50k within 7 days.
Faculty
The faculties at ifim are the best. They are handy whenever you need them. Most of them are phd holders with years of experience in this field. They have been holding prestigious positions in the topmost institutions in India and abroad. They have upgraded themselves with times to help their students in the best ways
