I am proud student of this Panjab university as it gave me so many sweet memories which i’ll never forget in my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is totally relevant to all the fashion students and here it consists of fashion seminars, fashion workshops with designers & models & makeup artists & stylists too, one can also do research work & get big projects to do with different different companies so this is all a fashion student wants in his/her college life.
Placement Experience
It all depends upon one’s portfolio or individual talent but yes they do provide internships with some textile industries.
College Events
There are so many events happens every year as:- 1. Rose fest (February) - one of the biggest fest of the university & its of 3 days 2. Agaaz (November) - second biggest fest & its also of 3 days with consists of fashion show/dance comp./singing/star night/flash mobs/gatka/eating comp./ and many more challenges and fun games. 3. Jhankaar 4. Goonj 5. Uiams fest
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, its around 1.5 lacs per year & one can only pay this fees in the form of draft from any bank with 6000/- cash in the first instalment and there is no transparency in the fee breakdown and no instalments. There are instalments but semester-wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I didn’t opt for any scholarship or any education loan from anywhere so i can’t answer this question.
Campus Life
There is very good environment in our university mainly there is no gender bias as no timings or entry/exit for both boys and girls even in hostels also there are 6 grounds and except that different different sports grounds also for each gender. There are different labs in each department accordingly.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are very helpful & kind. Not all the time but sometimes they do help or be kind to the juniors.
Admission
I opt this course as initially i used to draw sketches or fashion drawings so always got attracted towards fashion or any new style so i opt B.Sc in fashion & lifestyle technology as it covers designing & innovative part also which helps us to forecast upcoming trends or machines relates to fashion.
Faculty
Number of lectures - 9-10 (per day) Average age - 30 Qualification - PHD Yes lecturers have so much industry experience in their own different different subjects and specialities. And there are different different teachers for the each subject with speciality in that subject.
