Remarks

Best university in Mumbai, good placements in 2017, attractive infrastructure and qualified faculty. Placements: As by the name of the college, it provides students with all the knowledge regarding placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Masters of Commerce or MCom is a post graduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) as well as accounting and commerce sectors. The 2-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, capital, revenue, trade, taxes, etc.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 6050 per year

Placement Experience

Work placements provide an excellent oppotyunity for you to gain practical experience.The Government is doing its best to bring about a better matching between the demand and the supply of work opportunities

College Events

Mumbai University has strict and alert security 24 hours.The infrastructure is a little old, but the quality of education and living insude the lush green campus of the university is a blessing for students foming from outside.The faculty and the administrative staff is top noch.The teachers are hoghly qualified and only impart quality education.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn’t take up any scholarship there might be because I don’t have any idea regarding this as i never opted for any Good the faculty were very helpful and good the lectures were on time and the management was proper there was interactive learning in the class and the professors were really helpful in teaching things we didn’t understood at once they were quiet helpful

Campus Life

The Institute being a department of the University enjoys all the perks and facilities available on the University Campus at Kalina. This includes;Access to the University Gymkhana University's Cricket ground All the canteens and messes available on campus Accommodation in the Guest houses and hostels The Jawaharlal Nehru Library

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available to the students in the Kalina campus. The atmosphere of college is very good the infrastructure is nice faculty and management are helpful and good

The placement are avarage to good We received internship message and opportunity in our whatsapp group regularly I past we have received internship and placement from hsbc bank, morgan Stanley, etc and job opportunity from kalki fashion, good grains, hdfc life insurance etc After completing graduation college continuesly send message in the past group for job opportunity Regular workshop carrer guidance seccesions and seminars are conducted for the students

Way of teaching ,organising extra knowledgeable lectures from staff outside the college
Give us more outside knowledge other than bookish knowledge
Different types of curriculum activities held within the college premises

There is nothing that I did not like about my college

Banking and insurance course is a very good course to apply as there can be many activities or events done based on this course such as organize a monopoly game for students etc Create a social media acc where students can learn more in their day to day life

Likes

College fests and events are prioritized.
Sports events are held every year in our college.
Campus is beautiful but not very big as other colleges.

Dislikes

Too much stress of study and projects on students.
Some teachers are very less cooperative.

Remarks:

I recommend this college for every ambitious student who wants to perceive higher education in the field of commerce. Crowd is also very cheerful and good at this college. It's centrally located in the heart of Pune. Facilities and overall management make it one of the best college.

Nice Learning Journey at GVAIET

l applied to other colleges like VJTI and Sardar Patel but got admission only at GVAIET. I chose GVAIET because of good faculty, updated syllabus, and better placements. I missed other colleges due to lower entrance ranks. Admission here is through CAP counselling based on MHT-CET. Eligibility is HSC and Diploma.
