Remarks

They're very helpful and solve any discrepancies at the earliest. Their curriculum is based on what is required to thrive in today's world.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very convenient and practical in nature. We are made to study with the convenient modules and we are made to think outside our comfort zone. It instills a sense of discipline and knowledge making us better professionals and an edge over the others.

Placement Experience

4

I'm in my second year and the placement as well as internship opportunities in the college are brilliant. Companies like EY and Goldman Sachs visit us and hire some of them. To be fair, the placement percentage is pretty high if not 100%.

College Events

5

Dhwani - Cultural fest, is one of the most popular fests in our city and is open to all students from all colleges. Spiel is an inter-collegiate fest and all top colleges come and prove themselves. Cipher is a commerce fest wherein people from each class participate amongst each other. Kalotsav is an intra-college fest and is brilliant.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's around 70, 000 for Bcom and 1, 40, 000 for a BBA course. The college is very transparent in the expenses they incur. DD, online banking are the ways to pay the required fees. No other fees or donation were taken. Although, students from CBSE, ISC board had to pay an additional minor fee as per the critertia.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, it was there but I did not avail it. There are certain criteria like your economic or religious background or even sports.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is around 6:4 to boys and girls. Unofficial student parties are held once in a while in some classes. Since the strength in college is less, most of them know each other and interact with each other. Students from religions, regions, all sexual orientations and all backgrounds are part of the same class. This results in maximum exposure.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful and they guide all the newcomers and are very friendly. Usually post their graduation, they come and deliver lectures as to how their life is and how the real world out there is. This is very helpful to analyse our future and to make decisions of out it.

Admission

I had an entrance test and out of it, I was selected for a group discussion following which I had a personal interview. Each of the steps had a two day gap in between. I've always wanted to a Bcom as a gateway to an MBA and the fact that it was combined with data analytics made me opt for this course. I'd always wanted to join this college as its arguably the most reputed college for commerce in Bengaluru.

Faculty

4

On an average, they're around 35 and they're very open minded and clear all our doubts with ease. For our course, we have six teachers. Most of them have worked in major MNCs therefore giving a lot of exposure and their experiences help us understand the syllabus better.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
