I am very much happy to be connected with MDU and I am glad that MDU chose me as one of the research students.

Being a PhD student more learning is from your side rather than teachers but being a part of MDU the teachers here are really helpful and intellectual in their own domains as well as give precise information about the complete curriculum. The curriculum is designed in a manner that it provides information about big data, software development and research methodology.

There are many companies that visited the campus like Google, Microsoft, NCR, Deloitte. I have not availed any of the placements as am more in the research area.

Many technical webinars have been conducted online due to COVID-19 pandemic, one week Workshop related to research methodology has been conducted and many other webinars on artificial intelligence, machine learning with python have been conducted this year for students.

The fee structure is affordable and is as per the guidelines of DOE. And university accepts fee in cash. Yes, the college provides transparency in fee breakdown. They might be accepting fees via different modes of payment in other courses but for PhD, I had paid the fees in cash only.

University offers scholarships to students. For the eligible candidates, they have to fit in the merit list. Merit list is the same which was issued for admission procedure and counselling is done for scholarship and according to the serial number in the list, if you are lucky you get the scholarship. The average sum of scholarship provided for PhD is 9000.

Campus life is amazing at MDU. It is the best clean university I have ever seen. MDU has been rewarded first for maintaining the cleanliness in the campus by Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Mission. There are many cultural societies in MDU. Different workshops are organised on a regular basis. Various cultural activities are also performed regularly.

I have not opted for hostels as being a delhite and being a mother too I use to commute daily in my own car. But I had heard from friends that hostels are good and have good facilities and the ones who need hostels have to fill the forms. Being a state level university it is having many hostels.

Being in research field I didn't get a chance to meet my seniors that much but yes I had talked to one of them and he was very much helpful to me and he cleared many of my queries regarding my guide and teachers at MDU.

The doctorate is the best degree and the highest degree in education in India. MDU is a state level university with renowned faculty members. I am UGC Net qualified and therefore directly entered the interview round. After the interview merit list is issued and admission is done accordingly.

Lectures per week are designed in such a way that they are appropriate to give students an insight into the course as well as experimental studies are also done. The faculty members are amazing and having great knowledge in their domains. They are really helpful, provide clarity about the subject and clear all queries.
