Remarks
The college was good, I don't have any big complaints about it. but I want the system to be changed. they aren't focused on the student's creativity, they just want the assignment to be completed. they force us to do labor work more than some intelligent things.
Course Curriculum Overview
BE IT was my course. but it didn't provide current industry knowledge. the syllabus was old and wasn't suitable for the current industry demand. yes, there are a lot of people who get the job at campus placement but they have to refine their knowledge.
Placement Experience
yeah, there are some companies that come into my college. the first IT company that visits us is Infosys where around 100+ students are placed. then there is no mass recruiter who comes at the campus, but you can apply to the pool campus placements and grab your job.
College Events
yes, this is the best part of my college. there are so many events are celebrated in the college. at odd sem, there are so many technical events happen in the college. for each department, there is an event. and at even sem, there is the zeal which is of 3 days. Trust me, these 3 days are the best days of the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I feel for the open category fee is expensive which is 1 lakh per year. yeah, it's normal for the engineering college but I feel it should not be so high in any college. yeah, there is a big discount for SC ST categories they only have to pay around 9-10k per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan. so, I don't know the procedures for it.
Campus Life
there is a sports event named AVAHAN, which is so good. the event is so competitive and yeah it's cool. there were robotic competitions but since I joined the college every robotic event got canceled. I personally have a good interest in robotics, but unfortunately, there is no event inside the college.
Alumni/Alumna
yes, there is an alumni meet up every year at December. where all alumni connects with each other as well as with faculty.
Admission
as I mentioned I scored 72.15 in 12th standard and in JEE I scored 57 marks. so i got the admission in my college. there was two options the one was online merit and other one was offline institute level. I applied for the both but got admission through offline institute level. for offline you have to visit to the college.
Faculty
Some lecturers have industry experience but some don't. there are always two sides to any story. some faculty are very friendly and they motivate students to work harder also they guide about the industry and current trends but others just force us to do assignments and all which are useless in my opinion.
