Remarks
This was the only English medium college, where proper lectures were given in English, and not by the regional language. It is located remotely outside the main city, so a calm and peaceful environment prevails over the college. This helps in all forms of concentration, in class, in practicals etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college have decent faculty, not upto the mark as you would find in other state colleges, but they were very much acquainted with the latest syllabus that the university updated with. We have smart classes too for presentation and lecture purposes. Practical labs were not upto the mark because most of the required instruments to perform most of the practicals weren't available. Library is packed with decent number of books, but not upto the mark.
College Events
Cultural programmes were the only thing that made the college fun. There were several of them happening now and then. Some of them includes, "Tejas Hunt" where singing, dancing, painting, sketching, debate, poetry and other co curricular competitions were held; the annual festival or fest "Tejas" where students represent themselves and the college to showcase their talents. Plenty of students participate in this events as this was the only thing where they can actually contribute in some manner, as sports was underdeveloped in this college.
Campus Life
Sports facilities were almost zero. There is a vollyball court, a basketball court, and a badminton court, but this games were played once in a blue moon sort of time, only when the annual sports happen, otherwise they remain barren almost the entire year. Wi-Fi is present, but we have to pay for it, its not free. Library is decent, not that big like the state library. It has decent number of books. Labs are not properly equipped. Devices and instruments are less in number than the required quantities.
