Internships Opportunities

I have availed many internship. All on my efforts only like HSA advocates, Amarchand Mangaldas, Samvad Partners etc. Amarchand gives 12 k per month, HSA gives 4k per month, samvad doesn't give stipend.

Placement Experience

Placement is average in my college. I would assess 7 out of 10 for placements. some companies do visit our campus like Legalogic, Amlegals, Sintex company, Amarchand mangaldas etc. Only 10% of the students placed through campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

People coming from poor famy with income less than 1lac per annum get a concession in fees and a scholarship of around 1500 RS per month.But it varies from person to person.At times fees is completed exempted if a candidates condition is too bad.and extra financial,emotional support is provided.same in case of hostel.Accommodation and food fees is also reduced for the candidate.provided with proof.

No, in our college there is no residential facility. We have to look on our own for residing. So there was no hostel. I was residing in flat. I shared it with my classmate. Monthly rent was 6,000. Each 3,000.

ILNU is a top law institute!

Placement Experience:

Our campus placements start from 4th year and like by the end of 5th year, most students are placed. Many corporate firms and with Gift City setting up most jobs were offered in the GIFT CITY. Even almost all the top law firms also have their branches in Ahmedabad and so that is where placements are done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the major reasons why I chose this course was that this was very unique , bsc in data science along with LLB is very new in the market, although it has it's own drawbacks, in the real world, there is not much demand for technocrat lawyers right now but with time this will increase. The major improvement would be the inclusion of other fields of law like IP, arbitration etc. There are three components for exams, one is mid sems which is held in the starting two months of the semester and after two months is the end sems. The semester are pretty short which is why we get time for internships and which provides us very nice exposure for real-world.

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

In a law firm, there are no placements you have to get knowledge and then you can go to practice under any lawyer whichever you want and then you can do an internship in under of that lawyer. GNLU and NUJs were my first picks but couldn't managed admission there and hence the only choice I was left with was Symbiosis Law School but I was getting in their Noida branch. ILNU is best for corporate law!

After missing out on GNLU, I wanted to be in the same vicinity as Nirma too is a top level university for law. Same procedure as CLAT score is considered and even though the university has its own entrance too for MBA but for Law if one has appeared for the Law and has over 50% in 12th they stand eligible for admission in ILNU....Read More

ILNU is a top law institute!

I applied at ILET as hailing from Ghaziabad i thought Delhi would be close as well and ranking wise it is definitely the best law college or India. Unfortunately though I couldn't get there and I was clear that i will look for private options. So in private three options stood out and they were KPMSOL, SLC Pune, and ILNU. ILNU is best law school!

I gave CLAT and our of 150, I got 119. The cut-off for GNLU was 128 nd therefore I couldn't make it and was getting offers from NLUO, RGNUL and others. ILNU is far better but fees is high so, I took some thinking and then compared published articles, research opportunities and placements opportunities. Hence, if you want to do from Gujarat and you don't get GNLU, ILNU is the second best option here....Read More
