Remarks
First of all this college is just next to my residence and it is one of the biggest govt. College in jharkhand students from all places comes to study. Second the tution fee is pretty low and afordable by all. Finally the teachers are great and the way of teaching is nice too.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my subject we are taken to field trips for study the lab is good and the teachers are food too. But the academic system can be improved sometimes the exam is taken so late in starting years this leads to quick exam dates in other semesters.
Placement Experience
Our college is one of the biggest college in our state so many big companies have their eyes on our college, from tata to call centers every type of company visit our college offering placements. But they generally dont offer good package to everyone.
College Events
The college is a fun place too. We organise many festivals events through out the year. The students are the ones who organise everything under the guidance of teachers. The annual fest lasts for 3 days and the crowd sometimes get do big that their is no seat to sut and during the final day of annual fest college holds rockshow during this the campus is full of people dancing enjoying. The program are managed by student union which is selected ever year through voting.
Fees and Financial Aid
For students of Sc/st caste they are provided through basic govt. Scholarship which refunds their whole money spent during the year. But the fees and Every thing there is so low that no body would need to take loan to complete their academics.
Campus Life
The campus is big with 3 buildings and a huge auditorium. The college have almost team in every sports and our cricket team is winner of sports organised by university. The library is big and almost have every book required for our study but students can only take books related to their course not books of other courses the lab is well equipied.
Hostel Facilities
Their is hostel for girls but for boys their is no hostel currently. But i would suggest that girls should take hostel elsewhere cause the hostel building of girls is pretty old and messy. But the rent is cheap around 500 month, there are quite a few good lodges around both sections of college with affordable rent.
