Entrance Preview

Entrance Exam I took was MHT CET 2005. I scored 146 out of 200. The college was Govt recognized and autonomous institute. The admission process was quite simple, the staff was very co operative and hardly it took us couple of hours to finish the formalities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was Bachelor's course in Electronics and Tele Communication. It included various streams of Electronics like, Digital Electronics, Electronic Circuits and Devices etc and of Tele Communication like, Digital Image Processing, Satellite Communication etc.

Internships Opportunities

We were sent to BSNL office and Tarapur Atomic Power Plant for internship and implant training. The stipend was paid on daily basis and was more than enough to bear the daily expenses. The internship taught us many real life experiences not only from industry but day to day routing as well.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement committee was very much active and had relations with all leading industrial organizations. The campus recruitment started in second semester of third year. The placement was almost 100%, and the committee really helped us to prepare for all sort of aptitude tests and personal interviews, group discussions. All leading companies like, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T, Emerson, Honeywell visited for recruitment. The package offered back in 2008 was minimum 3.2 LPA.

College Events

4.5

The college organizes all kind of festivals like technical, culture, management and sports. The annual technical festival is Pragyaa (meaning Intelligence). The participation includes all leading technical institutes from nearby region. The college runs its own site for this tech event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very much feasible. For reserved category the tuition fees was exempted and nominal amount of Rs 1000 per semester was applicable. For open category the fees was Rs 20,000 per semester. The college has a trust running within itself, and economically challenged students were helped by this trust. Installment facility was also available for Payment of fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

As such scholarships and Loan Facility were available for students, but I never availed one. In fact, for financially challenged student, college has Earn and Learn facility. Many students used to work in Labs and Libraries in off times, to make their earnings.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was awesome and one lifetime experience. All extracurricular activities, sports, competitions really helped to develop our personalities. ender ratio was well maintained in college. We used to organize hostel parties almost one per month. We used to run many events, programs under Rector's supervision. Such events gave exposure to the hidden talents of students like Dance, Sing, Hosting etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network and Senior Student network is very well maintained by Alumni Committee. We have annual meetings and gatherings among us at college. College does invite us to all events be technical or cultural or convocation.

Exam Structure

Exams and Labs very scheduled in specific intervals. It never made our schedules hectic. There were 3 exams held per semester. Two minors and one major which gave us enough chances to prepare ourselves for every subject. Labs were held once in a semester. Whereas Practice Labs were held once in a week for each subject.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was very much talented. Most of them were doctorates in their field from IITs. Very Knowledgeable people. They always helped us in all sort of academic and cultural events. They always supported us during every inter department, inter college festivals and programs.
