Remarks

I got this college as my allotment by University and i have opted for this branch in the basis of my interest. And also i had heard a lot about this college's social life and programs here for which i an very much eager to join.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty here is good in teaching criteria as well as in paying attention to almost each and every student. Since the attendence here is mandatory so we have to attend college regular to maintain 70% attendence.Engineering is a four year course which provides various branches according to interest and marks obtained in entrance exam that is mht cet decides the branch. Each year in this course has two semesters.

Actually sinhgad college falls in sinhgad technical education society group run by trusty so it has many college at different places which also provides engineering, so all these colleges have a single placement alumni due to which it has large exposure and hence this alumni assure 100% placement to eligible students.

College Events

Many events are celebrated her in campus. Sinhgad carnival is one of the famous events here especially for first year students. Also the Sinhgad Karandak is most widely famous fest here which has its words in whole Pune.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are an obc, sc or st student then you are provided with scholarship. If you areGeneral category student and your family income is below 8 lakh then the college provides ebc scholarship. Also if you opt for tfws then your fees will be really low ie without tuition fee.

Campus Life

The college provides good facilities of labs and has grounds for cricket, football and for lawn tennis It also has gym, table tennis. Specially it has swimming pool but it has custume restrictions. Collectively it has excellent sports facilities.Library here is most popular in this area as it is a multi storey building many books of all time. Also the library is 24/7 available. It has tables and chair in good condition. It is really a good place to study.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee here along with mess is 70000 rs. Hostel are good and provides basic facilities like drinking water and hot water for bathing purpose. There are different messes for food to be suited to different students as per their taste

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. The college life i have.....

Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
