Anonymous's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Jamshedpur

The first factor I would like tell is 'Institute is in same state' and I don't want to go far away from homwtown. 2nd factor I would say, My rank was not sufficient to get any good institution than NIT Jamshedpur, 3rd factor I would say, NIT Jamshedpur is very old institution in jharkhand, having a good alumni base in different sector. For the course, I opted Civil Engineering, which is one of the core branch of Engineering, I was very excited in Mechanic Unit in Physic Class XII, I Consulted with 1-2 senior from different institution, they told me that time, go for civil if you are interested in mechanic part, and I did same.

Frankly speaking this is also comes under indian education system, please do not expect that, you will be getting world class education here, quality of education is same of other NITs. But still I would say you will getting a quality of education that only 1% of Students are geeting every year. Course Structure is more or less same with other institution. Because Institution is in Jamshedpur, you'll get amazing indusrial exposure.

You will have many opportunity in placement, being from core branch you will be allowed to sit for many coding companies as well, that will really bost your confidence that time, you will also get a chance to sit for intenship in 3rd year, based on the performance you may offered full time role. Every year, we have 3 megha event, namely Tech Fest, Cultural Fest, Sport Fest. All thesre feat are best in esaten region. you will learn many things by partipating in event during the fest, and you will learn lot of managerial skills as well. apart from these, there are separate branch fest as well, limited to branch related events. Coming to Club and committe, There are more than 20 in numbers, as per you intrestest you may go for any club.

Loans are easily avalaible at a time of adsmision and after addmision as well. and there are various type of scholarship avavlible, mostly of them are based on income basic. like Free Waiver by MHRD State Gvt Scholarship ect. Just go through website

We have our new building under construction, which is likely to be complete in 2021, Apart from these all the old building is already renewed, so would not be complaining for it, but you may complain for auditorium, we have temporary auditorium.

I can surely say you'll get best hostel infrastructure in India. (top in nits). every facility is present, like lift, indoor ground, 24*7 electricity and water. You'll never complain about it. mess is located just outside the hostel get, people really enjoy the hostel life here.
