Remarks

I chose Lucknow University because it's one of the most reputed institution of my home city i.e. Lucknow and it's an institution where any student can avail this course as it's affordable and has scholarship programs for less privileged students. It's an institution where one can have both theoretical as well as practical experiences of the course and the institution has well qualified professors for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is a bit lagging than the scheduled time however somehow the faculties manage to complete it before the exams. The faculty is hard working and very involved in providing all the necessary study material which might help the students in their preparations for the examination. But, there's a coordination problem between departments which indeed sometimes creates chaos among students as well. All in all it's totally a good learning experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

Every year the college comes up with various job opportunities and placements for students. the university has a Central Placement Cell (CPC). The main endeavor of CPC is to get students placed in reputed MNCs, government NGO’s and private sectors. All the registered students of CPC are given placement assistance, counseling for employment and even self-employment. The placement cell acts as an interface between the industry and the students and enables the students to select their career options.TCS, Infosys, Jaro Education, Prism Jonson, Extramarks, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Jio, HCl are some of the top firms that have visited the university for final placements. The highest and average packages offered by the university have been ranging in between 2-5 LPA.

College Events

3

Our college has few cultural festivals where active participation is seen by the students and it provides good exposure to the students for nurturing and showcasing their talents. The festivals have various categories where students can participate and win certificates and sometimes prize money as well.

Campus Life

3.5

There are various sports that one can play like football, volleyball, cricket, boxing and many more. There's no WiFi network in the college for students but has a huge library with one additional small library for issuing books for a longer time and also an e-library where students can access online study materials. The labs have all the equipment and is sufficient for students but few things have to be brought by students as well for performing various experiments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is good, but i feel there are multiple coding languages being taught, instead they should stick to one lang(give students diff courses for diff languages that they can choose from, rather than making all students study one same language that is c , which is also outdated) , also i feel since its the profs choice when to keep mid sems, full month mid sems go on, so exams are too frequent. difficulty level is moderate i would say
