Remarks

Sinhgad has its reputation for one of the best faculties in pune.Also placement reports were good when i took the admission.It has good campus infrastructure.Sinhgad, according to my knowledge, has biggest library in pune which is of 6 floors and one of them is digital library where students can avail computer facilities provided by the college.these were the reasons.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was updated as and when asked by the University.As far as faculties are considered, Sinhgad has one of the best faculties in pune. They look for overall development of each and every student and if anyone dont do well in Exams faculties arrange remedial lectures for them on their own.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 101000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I didn't opt for any internship.

Placement Experience

The major companies visited were IT companies like Accenture,TCS, Infosys,Six sigma,etc. Some companies also visit for Graduate Engineering Trainee profile.College do have a good alumni network but that doesn't reflect in placement numbers.For my department,that is mechanical, placement reports are not that good and non-core companies visit for some posts.

Sinhgad has a very rich tradition of celebrating various events. 'Sinhgad karandak' and 'Mr. And Ms.' are one of the events.Sinhga karandak is biggest college level event in pune and students all across pune participate and attend the event.It consists of various cultural,technical and managerial events as such.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any loan or scholarship as such but I did participate in Earn and Learn scheme of University that is run in college.It was a nice experience and I would recommend it to anyone who want to take care of their financials.

Campus Life

Sinhagad has very good and well maintained campus infrastructure.There is a big cricket ground and adjacent to it there are two tennis courts as well.Also College has separate football ground.Sinhgad, according to my knowledge, has biggest library in pune which is of 6 floors and one of them is digital library where students can avail computer facilities provided by the college.these were the reasons.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I did opt for hostel and its very well maintained and professional. It has a continuous supply of electricity and water. Each room has 4 students and a joint bathroom and toilet attached to it. Hostel do have a wifi facility and its okay.There are alot of hostels so you can avail them at anytime Accomodation-with mess-67000 Without mess-48000

Hostel Fee: INR 68000 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. The college life i have.....

Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
