Remarks
This institute is about 30 years old so the faculty is very experienced. placement opportunities are also good as I already got placed in two MNCs. the campus of the college is very spacious and full of greenery. The college has its own playground and courts for almost all games. A gymnasium hall and a swimming pool are also there. A full furnished and air-conditioned auditorium is there with a sitting capacity of around 700 people. College is accredited by AICTE, NBA and soon it's going to be graded by NAAC as their visit is delayed due to lockdown. This college is in my home town so it was very fortunate for me to do my graduation while staying at my home.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a little grievance towards the syllabus as it is not matching the industrial requirements completely. But this course syllabus is designed by Universities and its almost the same everywhere. Otherwise, on the college level, we have a very good experience of visiting various industries from time to time.
Internships Opportunities
No, I didn't opt for any paid internship as my main focus was on doing online courses.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are very good. Many companies come to our college or students visit nearby colleges where companies come. From my batch, many students get placed in renowned companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, BYJU's and many more. The alumni network is also good. Many of our alumni are abroad and whenever they visit our college they inspire and encourage students for doing better. Many have their own startups in the field of digital marketing, training providing companies, business development, generation of non-conventional energies and many more.
College Events
campus life is full of fun. Events like a hackathon, quiz, Robo race etc gets conducted time to time on departmental as well as on college level. Apart from this, college always participates in regional competitions and in the youth festival. From the last two years, our college is winning the trophy of overall literary and fine arts events. I am also a part of the college literary team.
Fees and Financial Aid
Though I didn't opt for any scholarship, there are numerous scholarships available for meritorious students, students with less income, students from sc/st categories and many more. Students can also pay their fees in instalments if they are unable to pay the lump sum for a semester.
Campus Life
The college has its own swimming pool, badminton courts, tennis court, basketball court and volleyball court, apart from these there is a big playground in which there are separate grounds for football, hockey and cricket. the whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. There is a large central library where almost every renowned book related to engineering is available. If one wants to access journals online from springer or IEEE, then he can access it from the library's computers. apart from this, departmental libraries are also there. labs are fully equipped with the required apparatus.
