Remarks

For the tag "Xavier", it will help me in future as it will be categorised in the category of good colleges and it is the best college in Odisha for BBM; academics are very important here than anything else.

Course Curriculum Overview

Rabinarayan Nayak taught us retail marketing and customer relationship management, he is one of the best teachers of xub. And yes, I learnt many courses which one could relate to the real-life one of them was sales lab and I got exposure in the subject marketing communication which was due to field trip.

Yes, I was in Berger Paints for 5weeks, they didn't provide me with any stipend.

During my time there were no companies because all of my batchmates wanted to study MBA. So, no companies visited our campus in our time, also due to the pandemic thing. But our seniors used to say the companies which visited almost provided BPO kind of jobs which are not worth it to work for after BBA.

College Events

Too good, during our events we came across celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Badshah, Astha Gill, Nuclea, Sunburn (tho I don't remember the band name) was also one of them. I didn't take part in the events when it comes to organizing because I am homesick.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, my father took a loan from Sbi as the fees were very high. But now the price has dropped they are asking 1,50,000 for a year in terms of academics whereas we paid maximum 250000 to 300000 for a year.

Campus Life

Campus structure is too good, the best thing about xub is its campus structure and the faculties. You can walk barefoot, it's that clean there. There are a huge field, basketball and badminton court, courtroom for the practice of law students, computer labs, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is also good, the best kind of hostels in terms of colleges of Odisha. Though, Birla Global University's hostel can be ranked first and xub 2nd in terms of college as they have attached bathrooms washing machine and AC whereas in xub there is no AC but there are washing machines in the bathroom and the bathrooms are separate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Xim university review

I chose this college because of the college life and curriculum. Campus life is pretty good here, you will be having many fests throughout the year. After passing my 12th boards, I thought of pursuing law as my career. And I found XIM University is best to fulfill my purpose. To get admission in this college, you need to have minimum 45% in aggregate from any recognised board. In alternate, they also consider CLAT, AILET scores.
