Remarks

I chose this college because it is state government funded. hence, the fees is low. Also the city of kurukshetra is close to my hometown Sonipat. Placements are also good, with almost all students getting placed in one or more companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Syllabus feels outdated in the first year of study, with many subjects having no significance are taught to children. But as the course progresses, the curriculum also turns better with many relevant subjecs like android, neural networks Operating Systems, Unix, OOPS etc. The faculty are well trained and educated.

Many companies like Yamaha India, Infosys, Wipro and IBM visit campus. Apart from this, students also get placed in pool drives organized in nearby colleges like Terii, Jmiet, Piet, etc . The profile offered is usually of Software Development Engineer.

College Events

Extra-curiccular clubs are banned in the college. Only study clubs are allowed. However, we have a techno-cultural fest every year named Excelsior, which sees huge participation from our college and other nearby colleges.

Campus Life

KUK has one of the biggest libraries across India with a large collection of books. There is also a sports complex for students where training in various sports is given. Wifi is good for nothing for mobile phones. However, You ca access it with a laptop.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are average at least, if not good. Bathrooms are also clean usually. There is a mechanism to handle electricity and plumbing complaints regularly. But the mess food is not up to the mark.

The placement is not that much good but decent like the college claims the average package of 6 lakh but the actual package is about 3-4 lakh and the companies are more about the management courses and not that much for the technical.

Life at Amity University Haryana

Placement Experience:

College placements have improved over the years and this year 24-25 was really good for the placements . Students become eligible for the placements from the 6th semester onwards for Engineering and for other courses from their Final year . This year the highest package was 50LPA given by Amazon to one of our student and the average package was 4.5 LPA and the lowest package was 3.1 LPA . Many companies visited this year and still placements are going on around 80 percent students got placed. I am also looking towards campus placement otherwise I would go for MBA from Abroad.

the student must have completed 12th class their are direct 12 th basis admision and they accept jee marks also the allotment of the couse depends upon the raks an individual scores the application form are present on the university website as well they admission can be done in the HSSC counselling session which happen in the month of july to augest after the jee exams The reservation benefits are also their for SC, ST ,OBC, EWS categories the exams which college conduct are not so easy but not so difficult at same time But they don't give marks to the student...Read More
