Remarks

I went for SIBM Nagpur because its real value for money and the reputation of the college is also very good, which helps in getting more placements. Also, the infrastructure of the college is so good it has all the amenities and services, hostels, mess everything is well managed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really detailed and up to date. Everything is taught in a very nice manner and faculty members are really helpful and clear our doubts every time. If there are any changes in the curriculum, they are changed as soon as possible.

Placement Experience

This is the first batch of the college and the placements for the internships have been slightly rough but still every student managed to get some kind of internship. It was majorly affected due to the Corona virus.

College Events

The campus life is very entertaining and there happen several events and fests in the college, inter and intra college competitions are always happening to keep in mind the curriculum. Sports is one of the things which is very kuch emphasised in the college we have gyms, basketball courts, badminton courts, cricket pitchetc.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is very good and it has all the amenities, hostels are well-euiped one three members in a room there is attached bathroom and toilet in the room itself, the mess is also very nice.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.

Life at SIBM NAGPUR

SNAP test is mandatory for any Symbiosis college. VAT, GDPI sessions are taken during admission process. 60 percentile is the cut off for SIBM Nagpur. SNAP test is conducted thrice a year. MY EXPERIENCE AT SIMB NAGPUR

Admission process at my college was very easy and was not weary as admission processes are assumed to be. The Eligibility criteria was as follows: Graduation from any recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and 45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A graduate from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). One has to fill the application form for the course they want to opt for and then register for SNAP, Symbiosis National AptitudeTest. The application fee for SNAP is Rs 1,750 for all programmes. Candidates can pay the application fee online as well as offline. Admission to MBA programme is based on SNAP scores.
