Student's Review On Hislop College, Nagpur

I chose this college as it has the best faculty for the course I applied for. It is also close to my house and has a limited number of college hours. The extracurricular activities and events that are held are very good, especially the Athena Fest. I opted for this course as I want to become a Psychologist.

The course syllabus is updated from time to time. Educational trips are organized for different subjects atleast once in a year. Many of the faculty members are highly educated and experienced. Some of them are a PhD in their respective subject.

Every year several Training Workshops are conducted by experts from the industry with the motive to make the path of student's placement in Multinational Companies smooth. An Annual Event WOW (Workshop on Work skills) is highly appreciated and attended by a large number of students) Several Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Concentrix (IBM), Wipro, HDFC Bank, etc. visit the Institute. In fact Hislop College, Training & Placement provides the best quality of selection from Central India with the best selection ratio, over the years.

Competitions, fests, events etc are regularly held. One of the major event i.e. Athena Fest is held anually. Students in large number participate in this fest. Various workshops are also conducted. Events like Psycho-galaxy, Psyche etc also take place. The famous Flower Show is also held anually, in the month of december. Many departmental programmes also take place.

The campus infrastructure is quite good. The college campus has a library which is not too small and not too big with a seating capacity of 250 students. An e-library is also there and also several departmental libraries are also present. The college has 16 laboratories and 6 computer labs. The equipments available in these labs are good. The college has a multipurpose playground, indoor sports facility, basketball court and a fitness centre for students.
