St.Alberts College is one of the Autonomous Colleges in Kochi city, well known for its excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. This college is located in the centre of Kochi city that makes it easy for students to reach the college using any of the public transport systems.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.voc Logistics management is comparitively a new programme offered for the commerce students. The course curriculum for B.voc includes 6 semesters with internal and external exams, a main project and industry based seminars. Faculty of the college is really good with sufficient experience in the field.

Course Fees: INR 34000 per year

Placement Experience

The college offers good placement opportunities to students in the final year. Top MNC's like Amazon, Wipro, Tcs, Deloitte, and Tata visits the campus for placements and recruits fresh talents to their companies.

College Events

Albertian Expo is the biggest event held in the campus during an academics year. Students of all departments takes part in this International Expo conducted in the college. The only negative about the college is that cultural events are comparitively less in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that peak my interest towards this course was it's 60 to 40 percent carriculam were 60% theory and 40% theory and also we only need 14 marks for passing out of 40. The exam are conducted at the end of semester.

The intership that we get every is very helpful in future carrier building. 60:40 ratio of practical and theory. They also teaches real job training with the environment. Just university need to advertise this course throughout the state.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum had so many unnecessary subjects that had no connection with our courses like psychology, zoology etc. They could have avoided that. Jewellery Designing students also had to study advanced minerology . Which in my opinion was a bit unnecessary. Apart from that i learnt to improve my drawing and rendering skills. Learnt about new types and also the history of jewellery Designing. Tools and Machinery used.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Usually, in our coarse, we follow updated curriculum about food processing technology. We do also have food analysis on our practical classes 3 days per week. I have chosen this coarse because I believe that food processing technology era is growing drastically and we can see lots of opportunities in the same field itself. Improvement can be made in the curriculum, so that they can also include food laws , importance of food in india and world wide so that students will get to know more about the syllabus and food processing technology. The frequency of timing that we get inbetween the semester exams is about 4-5 months which is pretty enough to cover all the portions that they have taken and we can calmly prepare for our end semester and exams very well.

LIFE AT ST.ALBERT'S COLLEGE:

Admission process Little bit hard. because our college is one of the best in the state and district. also it's autonomous so they have their own process for admissions. after applying for allotment they'll publish the ranklist and who have more ranks will get the admission upto the course they applied. eg; if the girl who had rank 1 was not there in admission time. the seat will directly go to 2nd rank person.
