Aman Kumar's Review On IIT BHU - Indian Institute Of Technology, Varanasi

One of the best college for engineering in India. Many crave to take admission in IIT's. IIT BHU currently ranks 8th among IIT's. For rank around 1800 in JEE ADVANCED, IIT BHU was one of the greatest choice I could have. Beside this placement of IIT BHU is really awesome, coding culture is one more add on to it.

Course in IIT's really needs to be revised. Curriculum focuses on all round development of the students. Beside theories every sort of practice knowledge is provided. It really offers a wide exposure to ongoing things. There are several seminars and workshops by renowned people to provide more exposure. Faculties are well experienced.

Many companies visit our institute to hire students. Top companies are microsoft, Google, Facebook, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, nutanix, flipkart, Amazon. Training and placement cell arranges placement session and every year many giants tech and core companies visit our college. Placement at IIT BHU is one of the best thing about it. Students get highly paid for brances like CSE or ECE packages average about 25lakhs per annum.

Our college mainly has three fests. Kashiyatra, which is annual socio-cultural fest. Technex, which is annual technical fest and Spardha which is annual sports fest. This fest are considered as one of the greatest fests of North India having footfall of around 60,000. Many great artist visit in this fests some examples are KK, Ritwiz, Jubin Nautiyal, Salim-Suleiman. All together fests are really wonderful.

Clg has many scholarship offered by many of companies. Beside this loans can be availed easily. When you would come first day for joining college you would see a line of banks trying to lure you with gifts. So you would use their loan for studies. One doesn't needs to worry about fees at all

IIT bhu lacks somewhat in infrastructure. Newly constructed hostels are really nice but old one's are bit conjusted. Wifi is available 24×7 with a very good speed. Labs are well equipped. There are mainly three big playgrounds which have ample of space for sports. Each sports has an coach to guide students. Playgrounds are well maintained and have flood lights all over to be used in nights.

Hostels rents are not high. It has rent about 1000 for 6 months. Rooms are shared between two students. Each room has fan, lighting, lan ports etc. Hostels are alloted branch wise from 2nd year onwards. For first yearties is is allocated name wise. Room are small but slowly you would be in love with them.
