Remarks

Because of placement, I heard that this college has a very good reputation for placement and the rating of this college is also better than other well known colleges. It is less strict in comparison to other colleges, it is within the city and it is one of the top university around. Also because it provides very good facilities for research scholars.

Course Curriculum Overview

In SRM curriculum was updated in 2018 when I took admission. Faculties are not that much good. I think our surveying faculty Mr V Satya Ramesh Potti sir was good. He had a very good knowledge of surveying and I had learned a lot from him.

College Events

The technical fest is AARUSH and Cultural fest is Milan which is the top 5 biggest college fest in India. Each and every festival are celebrated in a very systematic way.

Campus Life

Full facilities for sports, wi-fi is very very poor, the library is very big in size and has all kinds of essential books of every field, Every type of lab equipments are available for civil students and for other branches also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

This college I have a great placement because already have a senior who passed out with the Hike package. They are trained us to achieve our dream packages in higher MNC company. Suppose if you didn't place on any companies college will provide you a great working opportunity in academic campus that is great average package in this college placement is a three lpa that's more enough for an bachelor student but the higher package of this college in arts and science is 15 to 20 for engineering is 58 this is the highest package in Coimbatore

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
