Entrance Preview

I took a test of mht-cet and scored 140 mark. I wanted to do engineering in mechanical engg. But this score was not enough to get admission in mumbai top colleges. Hence this college i opt bcoz this college belong to NIMS group.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was very good. I am grateful to north maharashtra university who honoured me the be degree in engineering after gaining the vast knowledge .Curriculum was very vast due to which i could explore my knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

They did not offer any stipend. There was only industrial training which was the part of curriculum. No company came for internship. I did my project in bhabha atomic research center.

Placement Experience

Only software company came for placement .But i did not attended the aptitude test. I got my job through off campus.

College Events

There was a cultural and technical event conducted every year and every student participated .This event was really helpful to us for meeting our social, technical requirement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible. The tution fee was around 70,000 rs. And the term fee was around 8,000 rs. The hostel fee was 30,000 rs. There was increment of 5% in tution fee every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is availability of scholarships and loan facility also offered by our college. Even the college allowed the installment payments of fees.

Campus Life

There were different events held in our college like converges. In converges there were different events like junkyard, robotics, debates, etc.there were also sports events held like cricket, badminton,football,etc.the events held were excellent. There were approximately equal ratios of girls and boys.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are clean and in one room there are three beds and three cupboards. There are seperate bathrooms and toilets each floor for students. The mess food is hygienic and the fee for mess is 3500 rs per month. The hostel fee is 30,000 rs per month.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

There was a 100 marks written exam and 50 marks practical exam. In 100 marks paper there was objective type questions, numericals and theory questions. The practical exams were after the completion of written exams.

Faculty

Every faculty was excellenthostel warden were very good. And they extended theirsupport through out the whoe curriculum. The kind of support i got from the faculties were the major contributor to my success.

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.
