Remarks
I chose Bcom because i like commerce subjects. And my ambition was to be a good accountant which will be successful only through Bcom. I chose Alberts because of its recognition, i heard about their qualified faculties and its status in the society.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bcom was very interesting and capable for a commerce background student. Faculties and all staffs helped us a lot. Since i was taxation i had no experience of lab activities. But in my opinion taxation works or return filing works should also be included in the curriculum which will provide an early practice for future accounting purposes.
Placement Experience
Wipro, TCS and Federal bank has visited us for placement. They selected through an online exam and interview. Wipro has selected only 2 -3 candidates where as TCS has offered 10 - 12 candidates placement.
College Events
Cultural programs are celebrated as a grant function in our college only once in a year. Weekly programs of various departments are organised and that was interesting. Moreover participation of celebrities are rare in St. Alberts.
Campus Life
Our college provide a great support in sports and games. Stage programs and individual competitions are also supported. It provides us with a large library which is helpful in all subjects and exams. Labs are also well arranged and equipped with materials. Moreover our college has Department of Aquaculture and Department of Space Science and its Lab which is very rare in most of the other colleges. Our college campus and infrastructure are also well furnished and beautiful in its interior. The only problem i felt was the lack of vehicle parking facility.
