Our syllabus is very huge as our college is under Calcutta university so we need to read all kinds of poems, dramas, stories, article and everything but we don't have any industrial exposure as my college is not so reputed which I believe, but my faculty is good having Madhubanti mam as my teacher I feel extremely lucky

Placement Experience

We don't get any jobs and placement and nothing as our college facilities aren't good at all and we students need to earn good placement by finding ourselves as we don't get much support by our college as it is a government college

College Events

My campus life is extremely boring, no enjoyment at all, no such events except some seminars and only festive celebrations as our college union is not so good and they are not so open minded and also not interested so much in extracurricular activities

My campus infrastructure is very bad as my campus is very small no space for students, class rooms are extremely small in size that the students can't sit properly and our college doesn't have any AC though our college charges ac fees for many labs but doesn't provides it and I don't know much about other labs as I haven't went there but only heard from my friend's

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because I loved the subject. Nothing more. The faculty of political science consists of 5 professors and our class strength is 58. The faculty is well qualified and they will cover each and every topic for you. But in the online mode of teaching, you will surely face some difficulties communicating with the professors and the regularity of the class will decrease but in offline mode, you will not face these problems. There will be 1 mid sem exam and 1 final exam per semester. There will be assignments and attendance also carries some marks (In our case, 5 marks per paper). The exams are conducted regularly and they were not much difficult to pass. The faculty will help you as per your need to prepare for your exams.

Remarks:

My college is one of the best college. It's a government college that's why the fees structure is affordable for poor or middle class family students. The college communication system was too good for Near NH-41. It is naac affiliated college.

Nowadays college has the facility of online admission but back then in my time, there was no internet facility available at that time, so it was direct admission and everything was paper-based, I visited the college and take the admission by completing the admission process.
