Remarks
Because ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY is a central university and ut performs well in the national Ranking, few years ago when i joined this institute, it was ranked 1st among indian institutes. The faculty members are well experienced, cooperative, supporting, abd teaching is quite good. some of it's faculties score among top facilities in country regularly. placement is quite good.
Course Curriculum Overview
our syllabus is not latest but just 2-3 years old, but that doesn't meant we are taught less. our faculty members left no chance to teach us in excellent way. in my faculty, Prof. sartaj Tabassum is very good, prof. mehtab parveen, prof. lutfullah, these are some highly experienced faculties. we are sometimes provided with industrial tours during our project.
Internships Opportunities
i tried internship this year i am pretty sure i got selected but all of those internships are cancelled due to ongoing pandemic fear. hope i will succeed next year.
Placement Experience
Last year very renowned and big companies visited our campus, more than 100+ companies. some of them are amazon, webbies, teleperformance, hexa global, etc. they had picked students on a package of 5-7 lakcs per annum. alumni association is working very hard and they are very much supportive if some one wants to study or do job outside country and any alumni knows he is an AMU student he surely helps them. for job recrufest takes place, organized with the help of placement cell and AMU court.
College Events
On a regular basis events are going on, various extra curricular activities also takes place, quiz shows, art fiesta, etc. takes place regularly. A big auditorium is their, mostly activities takes place in that auditorium.
Fees and Financial Aid
numerous central, state scholarships are available, scholarship by alumni association, some merit based scholarship, departmental scholarship, are also there. no need for loans as fees is so nominal and scholarship are awarded to almost all students.
Campus Life
It was superb, buildings are multi storey, parks have numerous flowers, wifi facility in each department and hostel, library is quite big, can accommodate almost 1000+ Students at a time. labs are well equipped with latest technology machines.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Life is best all over the world but in AMU one can find tahzeeb, respect to seniors, quite big rooms, separate rooms for seniors, 24*7 power supply, wifi. dining charges are just 1200 per month for breakfast, Lunch and dinner, rents are just 2000 for a year. their are more than 15 hostels in AMU. so shortage of hostel accommodation takes place only when some extra courses are introduced else no.
