Internships Opportunities
Stipend range is very wide. It can starts from as basic as 8000 per month to 1 Lakh per month. It varies a lot on in which field the internship is and in which company.
Placement Experience
NITIE has record of making 100 percent placement every year. And almost 80% of them get placed within week of placement session.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In terms of ROIC, NITIE is second best school in India. In year 2011, when I submitted my fee, it was overall 5 Lakh for entire course, excluding canteen expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Almost all banks provide loan facility for education in NITIE. SBI Branch located very near by to college, are always more than happy to assist students in loan and other requirements.
Campus Life
NITIE is called God's own campus. Any person who has studied there or even visited it once, will confirm that. It is located on a slant hill right in between Powai Lake and Vihar Lake.
Alumni/Alumna
NITIE has a very strong alumni network, which is always helpful in cross referring ideas or job openings. There are always good brain-storm sessions going on on almuni group.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is not too stringent one but not something that should be taken lightly. There are final exams after every trimester and each trimester contains around 7 subjects.
Faculty
Some were good, some were great, and some were just the best. Many of faculties are working on live research projects for companies and have a lot to share with students. And all of them have years and years of professional experience to share.
