Remarks

Its a Technical university and it ranking is best in all indian university ranking. And its members are good and well educated and university's infrastructure is excellent. Arrange ment of good hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus is accordance of AICTE and for practical work there is a infosys lab in our university and more tham 10 labs for practical work like machine lab, refrigerator lab,computer labs for different branches

In our university too many companies come for selection of students and all the companies are verified and have some standard in the market. In our university infosys lab is there and students work there for their practical knowledge. Companies come and ask students for the entrance test like amplitude test and interview is done.

In our campus there is too many technical events held. Hackthon,pythoncomp,techfest etc. These events are for weeks. And all the students participate in these COMPTIETION Our campus also organise cultural events like youth fest etc.

Our university provides too many SCOLARSHIPs to student if a student is from low grade family its full tution fee is free and if student got good rank in jee mains or 12th they also get scholarship on the baises of there ranks

Our university infrastructure is excellent as compared to other government universities.There is a international running track which is in construction and other sports equipment are laso available our hostel are also wified all the floors contain 4 router of wifi and library is also so big

Our hostel infrastructure is very very good all the rooms are airy and big there is two beds in room and on almira and attached bathrooms. There is no pg outside of university but there is some socities where we can buy rooms for living. Hostel food is very good and camera is inside or outside of hostel is presents guards also do their duty day and night

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.
