Anonymous's Review On Rajiv Gandhi University Of Knowledge Technologies Basar- [RGUKT], Nirmal

RGUKT Basar is a unique university that actively uses Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching. It is perhaps the first of its kind in the country with an educational model that is intensely ICT based. Established by the Government of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh vide a special act of legislation, this campus is located at the holy land of Basar (the abode of Gnyana Saraswathi, Goddess of knowledge) in Nirmal District (Telangana State). The campus is set in about 272 acres of salubrious and serene surrounding just a short distance from the banks of river Godavari.

It's good but a lot of improvement can be done in curriculum and academics. The facilities our campus provide is really good. If one utility all of its facilities then they can definitely get into a good position.

It provides us with top career opportunities. Various renowned organizations like, Infosys, IBM, TATA Motors, Wipro, Thought Works, Efftronics, Osmosys, BOSCH, ITC only to name a few, have successfully recruited us over the last three years. The task of the placement office is to facilitate the placement process and serves as the interface between the students and the corporate world.

The technical fest are really good. We can acquire more knowledge. The projects exhibited grab almost all the students attention and spending time in knowing all of the projects displayed is really useful. But it's better to have more exposure with other renowned institutes

The best part of rgukt is its infrastructure. But the maintenance is a bit poor. Good maintenance makes the campus more beautiful and pleasant. It has 3 girls hostels and 3 boys hostels with spacious study halls within it. It has a digital library and a 24/7 library. It has a student activity centre which comprises of gym both for girls and boys separately. It also has football, badminton, table tennis,kabaddi and also few other courts individually.

The hostel facilities are really good. It proved a bedding and good residence for its students with a pleasant view. The residential nature of RGUKT where the students come from a geographically distributed wide area and would not be able to commute to the campus daily makes it necessary that hostel facilities be provided for all the students. RGUKT, Basar, has a total of 6 hostel blocks – 3 each for boys and girls separately. Between them, the hostel buildings can accommodate around 8000 students.
