Remarks

As this is the one of the oldest and most prestigious university of the country and this college has a huge alumni base. Moreover our college has a good coding culture so i opted for this course and it has a lot more opportunities in placements and extracurriculars.

Course Curriculum Overview

The departments provide their students with the necessary skills in their respective fields through a fascinating course structure and industrial exposure, for five days a week. There are many practical workshops to give students enough industrial experience. Moreover, recently, to give students a better industrial exposure, the focus of teaching has quite changed from a bookish manner to a more practical approach. Course structures have been updated to provide essential skills required by the Industry. Faculties here are also quite experienced and hard-working, one of my favorite professors is Dr. Pratik Chattopadhyay of the department of CSE.

Placement Experience

The Training & Placement Office, IIT (BHU) Varanasi facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute by collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students.The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing the last week of July through to March. Every year around 200 big industrial and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Samsung, TATA, Uber recruits students from our college for internships and jobs.

College Events

Students in our college organize 3 national level festivals, Technical, Cultural and Sports festival. If we talk about our cultural festival this is the one of the biggest cultural festival organized by any student community. It has participation from around 400 different colleges and cultural institutions across the country and it has a huge foot fall of around 80000 over here. Technical fest named Technex is biggest and oldest techno-management fest of Asia.

Campus Life

Our college has all the essential infrastructure available in very good condition. We have all the sports facilities, all sports equipment, moreover, we have 3 very big grounds for all types of sports. The whole campus has a high-speed wi-fi facility. We have a huge library with all the essential facilities in it like wi-fi, computers, all type of books and it includes a digital library within it.

Average college not bad and not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

KMCLU Lucknow : Experience of Campus and Academics

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
