Remarks

Have always been passionate to pursue law, and this is College is the oldest Private Law College in Chennai thereby giving it an edge over other private Institutions. By the virtue of being in Chennai, the proximity of this college was a driving factor to choose this Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course is updated very frequently, and the subjects too are refreshed very often, more so because we follow a Choice-based Credit System Which requires us to explore a plethora of different electives. Faculties are Standard while some of them are really exceptional. Ms. Betsy Rajasingh is an accomplished Writer and a scholar with years of experience in the field of Digital Law, and she has a firm hold in the way she engages the students in her class. Most classes are mandatorily activity based to maximize student participation.

Internships Opportunities

Internships under law firms can be availed through contacts and some research online. My initial internship was unpaid.

Placement Experience

2.5

HCL and a few other companies had visited last year in search of an addition for their in-house legal team. Campus placements are very limited for a Law college so there was only one such placement that year.

College Events

4.5

The campus life in Saveetha School Of Law is strict in terms of Discipline, dress codes are vehemently followed and punctuality is a mandate. They are very liberal on the academic side, the Choice - based Credit System allows students to choose their subjects and faculties of choice Every 3 months. They strongly propound Research as a part of the Assessment. They conduct Grand celebrations for most National Festivals And their Signature event is the Pongal Event in January which is the grandest of them all. Intra college Culturals and Law day celebrations are held every year which is an absolute festival for the students. They are grand but the participation is limited to students within the college.

Campus Life

4

Sports facilities are limited, but Ipads are provided to all students, Wi-Fi access is available, Exclusive Legal Library, State-of-the-art Moot Court Hall, Legal Aid Clinic, Yoga Centre are some of the many amenities present.
