Remarks

IIT JODHPUR has huge campus on 852 acres. IIT Jodhpur has better placements and packages among colleges which accepts candidate with AIR 5150 rank in JEE ADVANCED. Students get separate rooms (single rooms) here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite similar to older IITs and updated regularly depending on demand in society. IIT JODHPUR provides industry immersion program to explore industries. Most of the faculty did their PHD abroad in reputed universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed M.C.M scholarship for past 4 years. An amount of 1 lakh rupees will be credited in bank account of student through this scholarship, if his parents income is less than 6 lakhs and student has minimum CGPA of 6.5 . (note : above mentioned details are of 2015- 19 batch, it may vary for other batches), Campus also offers loan facility for amount less than 10 lakhs.

Campus Life

Each person will be given a sperate room to stay. Every room has AC, almarah, fan, chair, table, windows with mosquito net, fee WiFi facility. Campus has huge sports complex with sperate grounds for cricket, football, tennis. Each hostel block also have badminton and table tennis courts.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

Placement Experience:

SKIT- The overall package

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible after 4th semester for placements. There are many companies that have visited like Vipro, IBM, TCS and many more among the 150 companies that visit the campus. THe highest offer made was to a senio of mine of about 43 lpa and the average package is of about 5-6 LPA. The lowest package offered was of about 3 LPA. About 90 percent of students get placements and if for any reason i do not get placed, I would try for CDS that is the armed forces of India

About SKIT Jaipur

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are quite good for my course and also they are nice for other branches . The highest package of last year was 47 lakhs per annum for the CS branch of my course and average package was 6 lpa . I am in first year right now so i can not tell about my placement but yes the placements are nice in our college and the rate of placement is also decent . My college has tie ups with some companies and train the students according to the demand in the industries. Students who wants to do start ups our college also supports them and give some amount of investments. The culture of my college is really very helping and supporting.

My college life

I choose this college since this is most reputated college in india and IIT is dream of many students in india. I tried to many iits which are better than this but my jee advanced rank made me to come here this is the best affordable college for my rank in the jee advanced 2025 exam. The admission fees after getting admission is 3800 rupees. The cutoff of 2025 for my year is approximately 9000-9400 in all india. Iam proud to being an IITian.
