Remarks

Barasat College is not so far from my home. Moreover It's one of the best college in our locality. People from different places try hard to get admission in this college. All I can say there is something really different about our college & I just love it.

Course Curriculum Overview

After Kolkata University, Barasat College is our second most favourite college as the authority of our college maintain everything so intelligently that must be praised. If I say more clearly, lecturers of our college are so humble.

College Events

The campus life is the thing that I miss mostly during Corona Lockdown. You can say Barasat College is a model hub in Technical, Cultural, Management Festivals. These are really big and fantastic. So many students participate in them.

Campus Life

It's pretty cool. Sports, Functions every event is well managed. Our library is really big & the collection of books in our college library is spectacular. The equipments in the labs are very good in quality.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
