Remarks

The teaching quality is good and infrastructure is also good but the academic time is not too handy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course by keeping in mind the future requirements and the faculty to student ratio is 1:60 which is great.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement is also good the students here are placed in Amazon, Zenser, Microsoft, etc. I would rather plan for the job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The quality of study here is good overall the cost to study we can get idea from the faculty qualifications. They are not less than a PhD.

Campus Life

The annual fest is KALATAMAK and it is conducted in Feb mostly. There are a lot of sports faction shows and dances also the college takes part int hr Karandak event under COEP college.

Interview Experience

At Saturday there is a group discussion lecture where we discuss the recent topic regarding our branch and also the interview questions are discussed.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
