Remarks

From the time I have joined, I stand by it as always the best. It has got all what a Student needs.

Entrance Preview

EAMCET and scored a big rank but out of the colleges left, this was among top 10 which is why I chose and I don't repent.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything required for education was always available. Books in Library, Laboratories, Workshops, all of them were easily accessible for students.

Internships Opportunities

I could not do Internship in my college, by my friend did help a lecturer and was offered 3000 a month back then which was decent. Not sure if it changed now.

Placement Experience

More placements and Job Oppurtunities are for CSE and IT then the other branches, but usually all branches are open for IT companies.

College Events

Every branch has its own Technical event being celebrated every year and the whole college will celebrate one Cultural/Management Festival on a very huge scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college being rated as one of the top 10 colleges, for all the facilities they made available for all students, the fee structure was very nominal.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't taken any loan or scholarship and do not know if anything of that sort was available, but will have to find out if anything already existed or started.

Campus Life

Campus Life is the Best.! No student will ever regret. Be it Studies, Cultural Activities or a regular day life in Canteen, or some fun in Games Room, we have all available for the Students. And the huge campus just adds up to the college beauty.

Hostel Facilities

You have many hostels in an around the college and thought I do not have any personal experience, my friends have always said they were very comfortable and happy with the facilities.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is very interactive and do conduct many gatherings. Both Seniors and Lecturers were involved in it and catch up for planning all the events in the college.

Exam Structure

Labs were on regular basis but Exams were frequent enough to keep up with studies but not hectic. And they were selected as Best of 2 out of 3 internals which makes it flexible for students to score.

Faculty

Faculty are very helpful. They have good experience in the subject they are teaching and are very patient with the students when it comes to teaching.

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

From 4-1 we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Tcs, Deloitte along with core etc..visit our college.the highest package is 6L.mostly 70 to 80 percent will get placed.my plans after getting the degree is to attend the campus placement and secure a job with decent package.

The placements in our college are very good the highest package which we got in our college this year is around 18 lpa and the lowest package offered is around 3 to 3.5 lpa and the average package is around 4.5 lpa a lot of companies come to our college to conduct the placement drive as we have campus recruitment training from our first year it makes it a bit easier to face the interview some of the companies that visit our college are mandatory cognizant TCS Accenture Infosys Wipro HCL ADP the placement drive starts when you are in your 4th year 1st semester or at the end of your third year second semester

1. i applied for cbit, ou, jntuh, vnr, grrr, vasavi, cvr through EAMCET in 1st phase i got MJCT which was decent but placement was very less also no hostels.. in phase 2 i got seat in cvr this college was great in placement and academics but problem was it was too far also the hostel fees is too much.. and finally in phase 3 i got mgit-cse.. honestly i was applying colleges by seeing there cutoffs like mgit was closest to my rank and remaining all were lesser then my rank .. 2. there was no rejection i only changed my mind 3.admisssion process in mgit you can get better details in mgit.ac.in but main sorce is EAMCET and cutoff is around 10k for oc cse.. admisson is smooth and i am happy...Read More

The truth all should know berore joining MGIT

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
