Entrance Preview

EAMCET exam is required to get into this college. I have got 5500 rank in EAMCET in 2012. I have tried for some other colleges which are better than MGIT in hyderabad but didn't get into them as I am a non-local student for the colleges in hyderabad.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

All the course curriculum is as specified by the JNTUH.I am from a Information Technology stream. So my core subjects are C, C++, Java, computer networks, mobile networks. And in the final year we will have electives. We have cloud computing, adhoc sensing and routing, e-commerce.

Internships Opportunities

In our college we dont have any internship. They dont provide any such offers .It is us who should take up the internship from other companies outside, during the holidays of 3rd year.

Placement Experience

4

Our college provides placement opportunities but the thing you should have is the minimum eligibility (for some companies there is no eligibility).

College Events

4

Our college does have technical events for each of the department separately. In which we have participants from various colleges in the city. Apart from this we have our college event called NIRVANA. It is a 3 day event. generally we have a traditional day, DJ night, and the might be changing like in 2014 we have singer MIKA SINGH in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the batch of 2012 there was a clash with the government regarding the fee from all the colleges in the state. In our batch we have a fee 84600 for 1st year and for the remaining it is quoted as 62600. But for our juniors it is fixed at 84600 for all the cousre .

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college doesn't provide any scholarships for any of the students. It doesn't even provide loan facility from the college side. But in our state we have fee reimbursement for the students whose parents income is less than 1 lakh. So there can be no such problems .

Alumni/Alumna

As far as now we dont have any alumini for our college . It is the farewell party we can meet our senior students and no where possible, unless by chance, of meeting them.

Faculty

4.5

It was a good experience with my faculty both in and out of the class. They are very interactive and friendly. But they are little strict in assigning internal marks unlike the other colleges in hyderabad which offer good marks for all the students .

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.
