Entrance Preview

No Entrance In Tamil Nadu right now. And also I did not take any entrance examination. Heard about the course and I was interested in physics. So I took this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electives were related to CSC or ECE. We have the option to select the electives based on our interest. Not all electives can be selected because of the strength.

Internships Opportunities

I've not taken any internship. In 2012 some govt stipend were there for doing few projects. Minimum 25000 offered. Few people tried out to get internship.

Placement Experience

Placement was good. Core companies were less in numbers. Only thing is for every placement we have to go to CEG campus which will be really frustrating. IT companies were huge in numbers.

College Events

Each department has 2 technical events which was conducted one in odd semester and the other in even semester. Also 2 cultural festivals are there. There are even festivals to bring in a relationship with alumnis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was really cool one. since it is a Govt college. Don't have to worry much about the fees. It is Feasible. In odd sem (14k +1k exam fees) In even sem( 13K +1k exam fees).

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are available. FFE scholarship is the one which gives 25000 per year. and also many govt scholarships available.

Campus Life

Gender ratios Boys were high in number, Hostel Parties, workshops, cultural societies and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status ( Be detailed in your response to meet quality standards).

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior relationship is very good in this college. Relationship is maintained from the start of the college with T-group based on the roll number.

Faculty

Faculty standards were good. Experienced ones were good whereas recent passed outs where not much efficient. Whatever it is, it is on ones own interest to excel in particular field.

Rmk collegeof engineering and technology has strong placement with excellent percentage. They will train you from 1st year for the placement. The average package is 5-6Lakhs per annum.and the highest pacakge is 66 lakhs.

My Life inside VIT'V

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.
