As we go threw the crucial selection process, the so called joint entrance exam called JEE where so many criteria are there you get benifit if you are from sc st or obc but no benifits are there for general category, it is a kind of discrimination in my point of view, VITEEE is to be given in month of April 1 st week, because of the discrimination I filled the form of vit as a backup and it is much better then most of the government college like nits and some IIT (I'm not saying it's the best but I joined it because it was the best option available to me), I failed that discrimination process and ended up in vit but I admit that it's a good and reputated institute where you are going to learn a lot, it totally you who decides what you want to do with your life in college, I am a final year student and I am saying this because I have learned a lot, and if you are purely motivated towards your dream you will surely find a way to stand outside of a big croud.

The course curriculum is very decent college gives us exposure to different firms and organisations related to our field and the curriculum which is going to be followed by faculty is totally revised as per the need of the industry. Faculty members are good some of the faculties give there best to make you scheduled and a knowledgeable person but like school, no one will force you for anything like you the boss or you say if you will do your work and submit on time it will be great or else you will suffer from grades, some faculty don't care much they only try if you will cooperate they will help or if you are taking them for granted they will not going to favour in any venture, summerising they are strict.

There are options like if you really want to get an internship just coordinate with the program chair, your proctor or even teacher you like, they will surely help you in finding a good internship and with there reference it is easy to get an internship.

See as I am a final year civil engineering student and currently facing campus placements, I can say for civil it's not good like two or 3 major core companies will come to campus and want a cut off cgpa of 9 which is very tough to maintain for 3 years conductively but I can say CSE branch get a good placement offers and for VIT the avg placement package is around 7-8 lakhs.

As per my starting academic year, the total fee was 2lakh 78 thousand in which 1 lakh 72 thousand as a tuition fee and rest is of mess and hostel fee, there is a scholarship scheme threw VITEEE if you are in the merit list or you can say within 1000 rank you will surely going to get some scholarship.

Campus life is very normal because of so many rules and regulations you cannot expect to be a chill life if you are studying in South and you are from north India there are so many peoples from the north as well but you will definitely go to miss the chill environment in north Indian schools or college, else you have to find some good friend to make your life a chill.

Facilities are very good, we got different room options like 2,3,4or even some 6-bed rooms are also present which are having both a/c and non a/c I preferred non AC 2 bedded which costs me around 1 lakh rs and for a/c 2 bed you will be charged around 2 lakhs, the mess is also included in this price, and we also get 6 mess options north (veg/non-veg), south(veg/non-veg), special mess, food court and as per the food is concerned it is ok you can eat it, as compared to other colleges they will serve good meal with proper hygiene.

See there was no group discussion for selection process they will conduct an exam which is VITEEE in which you have to score, it is of 100 marks the syllabus is of 11th and 12th, some English and grammar topics will also be there in the exam it's competitively easy to other exams but surely I didn't understand there ranking criteria like my paper was so good that I expected a rank within 5000 but it was above 20000, so be very attentive throughout your exam and there will be no negative marking.
