Course Curriculum Overview
It surely makes a student capable to be a good teacher. The teacher educators of this institute helps at every point of learning process. The curriculum exactly emphasize on understanding a student's needs. Language lab, Psychology labs are just awesome. There are four semesters and several internal assements helps a trainee teacher.
Placement Experience
Although there are very few opportunity to be placed after pursuing B. Ed. the institute almost place 60-70% of the students after completing the course.
College Events
All the national events and social awareness events observed. Apart from national events, International Mother Tongue Day, Environment Day etc. are observed. As well as national and internal seminar, workshops organised on education to increase the knowledge of the trainee teachers as well as to enable the interchange of thoughts.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is following the University fee structure. But it has an unique thing that it offers schloarship and waiver of tuition fee for the students in need. It is having a dedicated finance department, which deals with the financial matters. There is no extra charge taken other than the charges stated in the time of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I have not opted any scholarship or educational loan. But the institution offers scholarship for poor students and also helps you for educational loans.
Campus Life
The gender ratio between boys and girls is 40:60. This is the unique nature of the institute. There is no discrimination in the students based on race, cast, creed, religion or language. The girl students get the same privilege as boys get. For any kind of sexual or other harassment, dedicated cells are there. But in my two years I have not seen a single incident.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are so helpfull. They are for you at every step of your journey. They are like friend, philosphers and guide.
Admission
Applied through online portal of Burdwan University. Then took part in counselling and got admitted. The whole system is online and you have to just present in counselling with all original documents. The college did not take part in any kind of business.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are properly qualified and either a part of any research of have completed. They are just the best of the city. If we consider their teaching capabilities then nobody can deny their mastery. They have vast knowledge of the subject and very down to earth. They are always ready to support you.
