Remarks

Management was very professional and did not interfere much. It ran like a well oiled machinery.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Exam structure was based on University. Followed a semester pattern with a mix of practical, assignment and theory exam based approach with projects in alternate years. Course curriculum was again University based with a few improvisations. Few additional workshops were conducted.

Placement Experience

4

All reputed and mass recruitment companies visited college for placement during my term. There were a few niche companies too that visited.

College Events

4.5

Many events of my college were famous across the country. Especially robotic competition robocon. Other events too. Cultural events were also famous in the city. Each dept had their own competition. Annual foundation day was a day to look forward to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible during my term. Expensive now. Few structure was transparent. No additional fees were taken during the course of the year in the name of some random charges which was a good thing. But now I think fees have been increased drastically. So not really sure if it's still affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Not opted for any education loan and did not get any scholarship. Was a general cateogy student hence no Government benefits too.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was fun. Campus was beautiful. Gender ratio was decent in Computer and IT department but skewed in other core branches like civil and mechanical engineering. Students from across the country took admission in my college. Hence the experience of interaction with them was pretty good.

Hostel Facilities

3

No. However hostels were decent. Available for first year students mostly. Around 1 km away from college. Old but well maintained with spacious rooms and clean surroundings. Hostel fees were also not that high.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not that very active. College should do more to encourage the alumni to contribute.

Admission

After 12th exam and state extrance exam, selected via merit list. Had obtained a decent result in the state entrance exam. I opted for top 3 courses in top 3 Engineering colleges of the city. Was able to get a course in this college of my choice. This college had very good reputation too.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was a mix of experienced and inexperienced. However inexperienced staff was mostly limited to support staff in laboratory or practicals. Or sometimes theory subjects. Important subjects always had experienced staff. With deep knowledge about the subject.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
