Best University in infrastructure, facilities and faculty

Overall college management is excellent but placement cell need improvement.

Course and exam is very nicely structured. Infact, one good thing is personality building is also added in each semester as a subject. Course is so well build that includes subjective knowledge, communication skills, one foreign language and one personality building subject in each semester. Each year we have one industrial visit for gaining field knowledge. There are 2 compulsory industrial training of 30days in a 2nd and 3rd year. There are sport fest, music fest, technology fest, etc are held at regular intervals.

The placement cell of our college was not upto the mark. Very few student got placed in my graduation year. Generally, the recruitment drive consist of 3 steps: 1. Entrance exam 2. Group discussion 3. Personal interview Companies visited our campus were : 1. Wipro 2. Accenture 3. Ashina glass Pvt ltd 4. Jaipur local companies with good repo. 5. Few core companies whose name I don't remember. 6. Indian defence forces. I don't remember the recruitment percentage but it was very low. I would suggest that college should focus more on placement cell as all every student expect recruitment from college.

In my tenure of 4 years, technical fest, cultural fest and sport fest were held each year. All fest are well managed with good team work. Participants were also good in each year. Enthusiasm in sports and cultural fest was mind blowing. Maximum participants were witness in cultural fest. There are more than 5 events in each fest with food facility. There was cash prize in each event. Decoration of fest were attractive.

In my tenure, each semester fee was roughly 60000 with increment in next semester. One can pay fee with demand draft or chaque. Every student has to pay security deposit amount at the time of confirmed admission which is refundable. There is no other additional charges. The fee structure of 4 years is given to every student at the time of admission.

I did not opted for loan. College offered me scholarship of 30000 rs after 1 year for excellent performance in first year. They provided scholarship at the time of admission for student above 80% marks.

Campus life is good. Gender ratio is high. There are many extra curricular activities are held in college such as fresher party, dj night, festival celebration, sports day, group discussion competition, debates, funny group activities, etc. There are plenty of labs for each course with well equipped instrument. There is racism in the college. As usual, there is politic in college. Participants are always good in activities. There is no sexual harassment case.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. There is flat system in a hostel. Each flat consists of 3 twin sharing room with common living room area, bathroom, toilet and wash basin. The flat are equipped with cloth drying stand. The flat have enough space. Hostel is 5 floor building with around 30 flats on each floor. There is TV room, indoor game room, saloon facility and medical facility. The average rentals PG's in Jaipur is 4000rs per month in 2012.

College senior were very supportive and helpful. They helped us in settling in a hostel, shared experience for further studies, gave knowledge about placement, cleared doubts in subject. They helped in bringing company for placement in which they were working.

I got to know about the this college from seniors in school. They were persuing their degree from this college. Their review about college was good. The admission process involve 2 steps: 1. Entrance exam : Paper was held for 2 hours. Paper comprises of aptitude test and 12th subject question. 2. Interview: It was one on one interaction. It was very easy and simple. I guess they were checking communication skills.

The overall faculty was good. Some of the faculty were excellent in terms of knowledge and experience. Few lecturer had industrial experience which they shared with us in gaining knowledge. In a day, their were 7 lectures of 1 hour each. Every department are assigned one HOD whose role is to look after all faculities under him for proper functioning of department. Many lecturer uses labs to show live examples.
