Entrance Preview

UPSEAT, I scored with my rank being 2000 in that competition. I went to differnet colleges for admission finally was able to get admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was great learning experience. I loved it and would like to learn few more things. Some more practical knowledge would like to add in the curriculum after getting experience from the corporate world.

Internships Opportunities

The internship was great we had a practical experince on a plant which is run by a govt organisation and gave us great insight for the working. No stipend was offered.

Placement Experience

Mostly all the students were placed before the end of course. Ample opportunity were given to the students with some getting multiple jobs. So we got great chances and sll got placed during course only.

College Events

There were annual day celebration. Freshers party, Farawell party college, annual festival, Games fest. Diwali party and holi celebration. These were few of the numerous festival that we celebrated in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was a bit expensive it was around 300000 for the entire course. For the entire 8 semester including the examination fees and fee for library and others. Books and stay were additional from the above mentioned figure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The loan was available from different banks but i didn't opted for it. But many of my friends did opt for it. And college authorities did help if they faced any problems in availing the same.

Campus Life

The campus life was memorable and one of the best experience i can ever have in my life. I made good friends in my college and great learning experience in my 4 years. Which laid great foundation in my career and every day i still miss my campus life.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very helpful in our college life. Staying away from my family in an alien place with being scared and curious for the new experience that we were to start. Senior were the only friend we had in the hostel. They helped and guided with our studies and life in college.

Exam Structure

It was well planned structure, it was organized one. And it was giving us ample time between 2 exams. We had 8 semester over 4 years, with 8 sem exams and 3 internal exam in each semester. With lab examination other than the written exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

"Disciplined environment for serious students"

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum provide better understanding of the the concept mentioned. Also it is very helpful for competitive exams like gate. The Full course is highly recommended for mechanical engineering. The only thing is that, they are skipping some important topics which was very helpful for students.

Placement Experience:

After 7th sem for b.tech student and 5th sem for diploma student is ready for campus placement. The company is visited in my collage is Mahindra, Infosis, Tata, Maruti Suzuki , TCS ,Gallent.Their are near about 80% students are placed. After getting the degree I want to become a successful Mechanical Engineer.

i would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and avg in comprehensiveness . it covers core subjects and includes labs , which helped me choose jobs and further studies through it lacks depth in newer technologies. exams are held twice per sem plus internals and they are generally manageable if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Good Faculty but not so good placement

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.

CONSIDERING IMSEC COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING?
